FOCUS column
HostProviderName
The name of the provider whose infrastructure the service ran on, which differs from the service provider when a service is offered by one party and hosted by another, as with a marketplace product deployed into the customer’s cloud account or a managed service resold through a partner.
Example
A vendor’s managed database offered through a marketplace has the vendor in ServiceProviderName and the cloud it ran on in HostProviderName.
Where it comes from, per export
The export column that feeds HostProviderName in each format the platform ingests, and the transform applied. A format with no row does not carry the column; the value is then absent rather than guessed.
