FOCUS column

AllocatedMethodDetails

Detail about the provider’s allocation method for the row, such as the driver or proportion used, accompanying AllocatedMethodId. It gives a reader enough to understand how the provider arrived at the share without leaving the dataset. Consult the specification for the normative definition of this later-release column.

Example

A provider-split row carries a detail such as the share percentage or the metric the provider used to divide the charge.

Where it comes from, per export

The export column that feeds AllocatedMethodDetails in each format the platform ingests, and the transform applied. A format with no row does not carry the column; the value is then absent rather than guessed.

How Runcost uses it

Runcost surfaces the provider’s method detail in the drill-down so a disputed provider-split line can be explained.
